School Meals

Hare Street has been involved in the Healthy School Initiative for many years. We have achieved the Advanced Healthy Schools’ Award alongside the National Healthy Schools’ Award. We encourage children to lead a healthy lifestyle by making healthy food choices at lunchtime.

Children in Reception, Year1 & Year 2 are provided with a hot, two course meal at lunchtime free of charge.

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 can purchase a meal for £2.50 per day. All meals must be paid for in advance using School Gateway. Our School Meals Debt Policy is available here

Some families may be entitled to Free school Meals in KS2. If you think you may be eligible please apply using the link below, click Check eligibility at the bottom of the page on the website and select the option in blue for "Create a new account"
